Elemental languages

In some fantasy conworlds, such as various Dungeons & Dragons settings including the Forgotten Realms, elemental languages are languages spoken by elemental spirits.

D&D elemental languages

In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, there are four elemental languages: Terran, Aquan, Auran and Ignan, spoken by Earth, Water, Air and Fire elementals respectively. These four languages are related to each other and form the Primordial language family. No grammars, dictionaries or other language materials are found in official sources, though some fan treatments of these languages exist.
